Pesticides, fertilizers and hormones are just the most obvious meddling. The selection of one type of fruit over others for asthetic reasons is a big factor in diet.
Select a saleable fruit and you soon find it does not have natural pest resistance so you have to provide a synthetic solution. hormones are used to make the product look good and retain a long shelf life. Go and find a wild apple tree and try one of its fruits, you will find a much greater depth to the flavour and texture. That is if you can get by the off putting look of the fruit.

I have two wild apple trees in my garden. I tasted them a couple of times and they were sour and most of them were attacked by worms and other insects because I did not spray them with pesticides. I typically feed the apples to the geese that come to visit.

Typically, garden apple trees are of a selected variety and not wild unless it is a listed tree known to have been there for some time.
You should find out what apple trees they are as they may have been selected for cooking (apple pie) or for cider and may not be suitable for eating fresh. Some apples require ageing for various times so you would really need to know what apples you have got. Look to encourage predatory feeders onto the tree to control the pests.

Worms and Insects are organic. Just consider them Apple Helper.

Are we really squabbling about vegen/vegetarion/and meat eaters? Who cares. I personally am a meat eater, but in a country of eating disorders who cares how one maintains a healthy diet. As long as they are thoughtfully caring for their bodies, then what's the harm of eating meat or not. And yes I know the arguments and I fell that both are negligible compared to a healthy diet. Whatever that may be.

The "worms" you find in apples are not really worms but the offspring of various pest insects. Thus your organic worms and insects may destroy your crop instead of helping it.
I have found wasps to be quite good preditors of many fruit pests. They tend to get abit overprotective of the tree though.

It CAN reveal, regardless of whether you're a vegetarian or an omnivore, whether "organic" produce has any health benefits over produce grown with modern farming techniques. So far it has answered, clearly, that it does not.

My main argument with non organic fruit/veg is not the method of growing it, but the actual varieties that are selected.
They are only selected for look, size, resistance and growth time.

I am also a vegetarian. I am much healthier than the majority of the others in my school. Just a few quick things for us Organic Veges'.
Horizon Organic is NOT organic ( they have been bought out ) Jello is NOT vegetarian. Salted Soybeans are a great snack. And my favourite to all you meat eaters. Peta does not stand for people eating tasty animals.
