If you have problems spelling or just type too quickly there is a great tool that can help you. It's called ieSpell.

Here is a brief description:
ieSpell is a free Internet Explorer browser extension that spell checks text input boxes on a web page. It should come in particularly handy for users who do a lot of web-based text entry (e.g. web mails, forums, blogs, diaries). Even if your web application already includes spell checking functionality, you might still want to install this utility because it is definitely much faster than a server-side solution. Plus you get to store and use your personal word list across all your applications, instead of maintaining separate ones on each application.

Here is the website:

Here is the direct link to the download:

I've been having that problem, as well! Just the other day I used the "Alohomora" spell to unlock my front door and ended up with a leprechan in a grass skirt! Cheeky little bugger! Hovers over his pot o' pineapple like a Kennedy over a case of Chevas! A competent spell checker would certainly be appreciated, for sure!

Now...anyone know the spell t' get rid o' this wee blighter? If I have to sit through another of his hula jigs...

Spellchecks should only be used for final documents.

The lack of proofreading your own text and manually correcting the mistakes only leads to poorer spelling and grammatical mistakes.

You should get into the habit of learning how too spell new or unknown words, also to manually correct your document yourself.
There will be a day when you have to write with pen and paper and have no spellcheck facility, how will you feel then?

Partizan is right. I'm beginning to realize that my spellings are getting worse. I think I rely too much on spell checks.

Perhaps ya'll (is that a word?) <grin> heard of the young man who sued Microsoft for a spell checker that missed an error. Due to the error(s), the student's paper received a lower than expected grade. The student apparently ran a spell check on his final draft.

Bill Gates responded by reminding the young man to stay in school.

When that happens to me, I just take a shower, use soap and shampoo, and use a clean towel to dry myself. When I'm dry, I use a cologne and underarm spray. Works like a charm every time. My parents taught me.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I've a many curious things to show when you are there.

Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair
-can ne'er come down again.

Yeup, ya'll is a word - so is gonna, hafta, ain't, and git. For some reason, you northerners talk and spell funny ... but I generally understand what your trying to say.

Ain't is a fine word, but usually misused. It should only occur in first person usage as in, "I ain't going to town."

He ain't, she ain't, it ain't are completely wrong and grate on the ear.
