I've just recently purchased these 2 DVDs and they are pretty good.

Do you have a favorite card effect from these DVDs?

Thank you,

Timely Departure is really neat.
Not clever enough to come up with something orginal, or did I.

Timely departure is really something else. Self-Working and and real beauty. New Jack City and Sheep to the Slaughter are also very fun to perform.

I just have the book impossibilia, so I wouldn't know what's on the dvds. That being said, his triumph is fabulous, as is his matrixes. Out of the two coin matrixes in the book, I like Two Ahead better. It starts out just that. Anyone with a stellar coin and card retension vanish will kill with this trick. The second matrix (Return to Spender?) is good, but I found some flaws in it in my mind, but that one is also good, and it is a two card, four coin, backfiresque matrix. I also love the Birnman Revelation, an instant four ace production. A Little TT & A is also fun.

Good luck!

Shriek of the Mutilated is a great burnt and restored paper effect. I use this together with ashes to hand climax and it's a killer for walkaround.

Do the Twixt got the biggest reaction for me.

Tattoo you and Texas Chainsaw also very strong.

IMHO Timely departure is too slow, too much counting.

Tatoo you is great, as is the triumph routine, as correctly mentioned above, these were books before DVD's, so I'm not sure what's on the DVD's.

Stranger's Gallery and Play it Straight on Impossibilia. Timely Departure and Masquerade on Smoke and Mirrors. Bannon is an excellent magician and my favorite when it comes to modern card magic.

Cheers,

Is the stuff in "Impossibilia" pretty much self-working?

I love stuff that does not utilize a lot of sleights.

Thanks,

PS-Posted before I forgot to ask:

A) Where does one get the Impossibilia" dvd?

B) I have seen the book at L & L, I just haven't purchased it. It's not all card and coin is it?

My apologies for the second straight post. I just didn't ask everything the first time.

They were produced by A-1 right? Did Meir Yedid buy the rights to A-1 or something like that?

See, everyone likes something different. It's hard to say when new effects come out how great they are because everyone's likes are different.
