Hi:
I'm fairly new to performing, though I've been interested in magic for many years. My wife may be heading to Alaska for a week's worth of business/research. I'm considering going along, but would like very much to do my own research there. Possibly learn magic/session with local magicians, possibly look into what sort of magic/entertainments were performed by local/native Inuit peoples. Anyone familar with Alaska? Anyone know of magicians there? Contacts? Thoughts? --Jon |

I went on a cruise to alaska from July 2-9 and then spent 3 days on my own. I looked for magic shops in Anchorage but didn't find any. If you can't find any fellow magi, it is beautiful country and lots of fishing and whale watching. Lots of stuff to do.

There is a group in Juneau that I have had attend my shows regularly when I am in town. They are an IBM ring as far as I know.
