I did a search in magic Café and seems like there is no review on this product.
I love the principle and concepts of this MasteRing System. But there is one problem that makes me think twice of the purchasing this MasteRing System. Firstly, Can de magnetise and demagnetise the ring ? Another word, won't it be danger when we handle our wallet when we tend to forget about the MasteRing System. Secondly, How does the appearnece look like...does it look like a monster ring ? As I m a teenager and I love to have the ring to be look modern but not something like a big gem stone ring that makes it akward to wear with youngster. As I believe wearing such ring will creat some attention to the ring..Where that's not what I want. Any comments ? |

For your second question, look at the picture at Hocus-pocus. read the ad. do you understand how the ring must be worn to mainly use it?
as for your first. you may have to watch your magnetic strips, not the ring. it has been discussed. you'll have to learn to search better. s |

NEXT, click on the ad, WOW! an acutal pic of the dvd and ring (it aint huge, but it'll do). s |

The uses of such a prop are endless. Mine should arrive by Friday (I hope). I love to mess with electronic stuf and just think of what you can do with this ring, a reed switch and some batteries.

BTW, I'll be happy to write a review after I have played with the ring for a while.

There is a similar ring called Elohem. The design is much smaller than Mastering and it looks like a small signet ring. However, the strength of Elohem is not the same as that of the Mastering.

The ring is horrible looking You could make your own, with a little effort.

I agree with MagicChris that with a little effort and much less expense a similar ring can be made.

As for magnets near magnetic strips (wallet and credit cards), I have had some very big, powerful magnets near my wallet on accident. There was absolutely no damage or funds lost (too bad none were gained either).
If you do have the ring near your wallet, just pull it straight away from the wallet slowly. If you swirl it around in circle or random patterns, then you will be more likely to mess it up. You could safely store the ring in your front pocket and your wallet in your back pocket withno risk of damanging anything. Of course, this has only been my personal experience with magnets and wallets. I feel bad for that guy who stood next to me in the elevator though... LOL The MasteRing looks pretty cool. I would have it engraved with my logo and no one would think anything strange of it. I have seen a ring just like it for less money at some conventions... Maybe I will buy one next time I see one. Question - does the mastering system allow for a 'loose' setup? This is what I find most useful for mentalism applications and would certainly make the purchase if this was the case.
