For those of you who do both card magic and coin (money) magic, and have or are mastering the TWO HANDED CLASSIC PASS in card magic and the COIN ROLL (WALK) in coin (money) magic.......

Which one did/do you find is harder to learn and master:
Two Handed Classic Pass - for card magic?
Coin Roll (Walk) - for coin (money) magic?

Which one?

Believe it or not, I am finding the TWO HANDED CLASSIC PASS in card magic much easier to learn then the COIN ROLL (WALK) in coin (money) magic.

How long did it take you to learn the Coin Roll (Walk), how many hours/days/months did you put in to learn it?

The Coin Roll was easier to learn for me.
After many years I still can't do a great Classic Pass. Me thinks I need a longer pinky finger.

For me its was the coin roll, I still struggle with the smoothness of the roll to this day. The pass wasnt as to difficult for me.

The coin roll I learned very early on , I saw Bill Malone do it when I was first getting into Magic. For those who don't know Bill used to work close-up magic in this little pizza place/nite club in Oak Forest,IL. believe me, he was as good then as he's now. Jeff
I'm not looking to be a big star in magic
and that's working out REALLY good so far.

Coin roll seems to be easier than the classic pass for me. I do blame the difficult for the latter on my short fingers. Can't change that - too late for bone streching procedure Smile

Coin roll is easier for me. I can do it fairly smooth too. I can't get the classic pass down, I modify the tricks so I can do the half pass instead. It's easier for me.

To be able to execute the mechanics of the pass, was almost instantly. I learned from somebody doing it in a video. (Watch it, I said the mechanics)

The coin roll, to be able to do it without droping it consistantly, was about a week. I saw someone do it on tv and imitated what he was doing.

I found the coin roll much easier than the classic pass. I was able to do a decent coin roll after about 2-3 weeks of practise but I still have trouble with the classic pass. I guess that's because I don't practise the classic pass much because I like the turnover pass and that's what I've been practising the most lately. The turnover pass is much easier for me because I have such small hands.
