Hi,
I´m currently looking for a mechanical holdout device. A knee-spread holdout device is prefered, but everything is of interests. (arm-pressure, toe-spread, etc.) The price can be discussed, depending on the condition of the holdout and by whom. a Bill Gusias holdout would be nice, but again: everything is of interest. You may wonder why Im interested in these old-fashioned mechanical props for cheating, but thing is, I just love the craftmanship of these old-school mechanical devices. I want a holdout device strictly for educational purposes. No fun getting caught cheating with such thing attached to your body. If you have a holdout device, and do NOT want to sell it, then please send a picture of it by e-mail (listed at the bottom), since Im very fascinated by holdout devices, and I love to see different types of them. Please, do not hesitate contacting me if you have a holdout device that you wish to sell, or if you have any photos of yours. you can contact me by e-mail: dzh@hansen.mail.dk or by writting to me on this topic. Yours Sincerely, Dennis Hansen |

Will Gordon:::
The Bob Kohler is a gravity holdout and probably can´t be used sitting at the card table for demonstrations. The Bob Kohler is intended for magic only. I need one for gambling demonstrations. not for magic. but thanks anyway. Dennis |

Contact Jay Leslie at House of Enchantments. I believe he has a Jacob's Ladder type holdout for sale.
One time, when I was young, I botched a sleight so bad, Vernon, Marlo & Miller rolled over in their graves. But I didn't see Elmsley, probably because he was behind the others.

Yes, Ihave seen his holdout, and I have already contacted him. Just waiting for a reply. But I need more than just that one. Dennis I would like a kepplinger style of holdout. no gravity holdouts of any kind. |
