What is the best book for a newbie into magic on silks? What is like the Expert at the Card Table by S.W. Erdnase or J.B. Bobos Modern Coin Magic of silk books?

This is a good question! I have been looking to get into silks for awhile now, and I would also be interested to know what a good book to start with would be.

Karl Fulves "Self-Working Handkerchief Magic" might be a good start. There is lots of info in Wilson as well.

Rice's Encyclopedia of Silk Magic is an excellent resource on silk magic. Volumes I and II are sold by Hank Lee and others. I have some original volumes of Volume III. Our website also has a number of smaller publications on a variety of silk magic efffects which might interest you. The website is http://www.silkkingmagic.com. Hope this information is helpful.

To answer Wikiro's question: Volume 1 of Rice's Encyclopedia of Silk Magic is like Erdanase or Bobo to silks.
