Our dad had a stroke, he now only has use of his left hand, luckily he is left handed, are there any one handed magicians? or one handed magic he can do? he was good with the vanishing coin.

I think I have read somewhere that there is a Magic Shop in the USA that sells props made for left handed people. Lefthandmagicshop or something like that.
Search for it here on the Café or some other search engine.

Good luck!

I believe René Lavand only has one hand and does all magic with it. And I am pretty sure he can do more with that one hand than most magicians can ever hope to do with two. Here is a link http://www.mymagic.com/lavand.htm
You know you are a magician when you have boxes full of lecture notes you have never read, but still are excited about going out and buying more.

I was lucky enough to see Rene' perform, and he is amazing, he lost his right arm when I think he was 6 years old, his skill with cards and cups and balls is first rate.
good luck in your search.

Dave,

That's a good question and one that's been asked many times before. Since your new to the Café, let me assist you in finding the information your looking for.

Before making a post, you may want to do a quick check and see if someone else has already started a thread on your desired topic.

Just go to the Café Quicksearch and type in your key words.

I used the words "Left Handed" and came up with the following threads:

http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=41

Have fun here at the Café. There has been a tremendous amount of knowledge posted here over the years.

Hello Dave,
very sorry to hear about your dad...

Cannot talk openly in this thread. And you do not have enough postings for the Secret Sessions threads. But if you care to PM me I will gladly share my first routine I ever learnt. It is very simple. But plays big. I have been using it for the last 30 years. You can use it as an effect or as a flourish. It only uses one hand ...

regards, wulfie

Rene Lavand is a miracle worker, and has some of the most amazing card effects.
