As a followup to "Cards as Weapons" ($243 ebay), Mamet actor and Broadway denizen Ricky Jay reveals his secret, deadly, advanced techniques for Thumbtip assassination (for defensive purposes only!)

Learn!:

* Vernet Classic eyegouge
* the Bullet TT
* flying fingertip flinger
* boomerang thumb
* TT poison storage
* various ninja uses for suction cups, wicks, magnets

As seen in the movie "The Presidio":
Quote:
Lt. Col. Caldwell: Now, are you sure you want to have a fight? Because I'm only gonna use my thumb.
Bully in Bar: Thumb?
Lt. Col. Caldwell: My right thumb. Left one's too powerful for you.
That's because he was using a THUMBTIP!

BONUS:

* the invisible thread garrote, using titanium nanowire!

$243 for Cards as Weapons ?!?

That's NUTs. If Ricky Jay didn't have pictures of a naked lady in the book, it'd probably go for a tenth of that. Smile

BTW, the MythBusters recently proved that while you can draw a little blood, there's nothing lethal about a playing card, even at 60 Mph. You might be able to blind someone though.
Just hanging out with the rest of my fellow dregs.

Mark my words, before you know it TT's will be banned on airplanes.

Even if you claim it is a magic device or a marital aid, Homeland Security will get wind of Ricky Jay's new book and realize that a far-flung flinging TT (even if by accident from an overzealous sweet-n-low performer) could puncture the overhead compartment, spritzing Eau de Toilette into the cabin and creating mass polyamory, enraging any terrorists aboard and thus endangering the inflight cocktails. Yes, TSA will soon screen for a TT.

So, pretend it's a D'lite instead. If they ask where the LED is, ask them what IBM chapter they belong to. Or say "it's a UV light LED, which as you know is an invisible form of light."

It's funny, but I did almost choke on a D'lite once... don't suck too hard when you eat a light!
Paul
why don't TT's have holes in them like biro caps?

Can't wait for Sponge Balls as Weapons ("Ouch that tickled!"). What about Invisible Thread? - they won't even know what they were attacked with.
