Doesn't have to be just magicians, but who do you know that is famous and you can call up and say "hey, hows it going?"

I don't know any famous people (household names to the general public). I've known a few who THINK they are famous in that sense.

I don't know any famous people, unless you are talking about in the magic community. Otherwise, no, I have met several public officials and celebrities. But I do not know them.

Andrew Newton (Man Who Taught Paul McKenna) - UK Hypnotist Uri Geller - The Spoon Bending Psychic Phenomena Cleo Rocus - UK TV Presenter and Kenny Everetts Ex-SideKick in Comedy Steve Coogan - (Alan Partridge & Parole officer) Fame Many of UK's Blackburn Rovers, Wigan Athletic and Oldham Athletic Football team players. Keith Harris - (Of Orville Ventriloquism TV Fame) Know all these personally and can call up do these count? Others I know can't mention due to client confidentiality and fact they are business colleagues as well as friends. |

Working in the TV business in L.A., I've had occasion to form working relationships and to make the aquaintance of several well-known people. And I've formed friendships with some well-known magicians as well.
But it ain't cool to drop names.... |

Yes, an extremely popular female singer-not internationally popular but here in Finland. She is a real superstar (think Cher but in national scale). When she pops in for a coffee, neighbours will always go berserk. Funniest thing of all is being with her at home, when she's got no make-up or costume - she's a whole different person than anybody would ever think and that person I like so much over the bit bitchy, stylished public image.

When I toured with bands many years ago, I got to know some folks real well. Amanda Marshall was amazing. Hung out with her parents. Her mom makes an amazing hot sauce. I know quite a few people here in the Café pretty well that I could call up in an instant.
