Hi!

I have a book that I am thinking of selling - Tricks with Cards, by Hoffmann. However, I am not entirely sure if it is a first edition book or not.

I have seen someone sell one as a 1st edition, and it was dated 1900 (or there abouts). My one hasn't got the edition number, but it does have on one of the pages:
---
London and New York

Frederick Warne And Co

1889
---

Is it a 1st edition? If so, how much do you think it would be worth?
If you put an infinite number of apes in front of an infinite number of computers, you get a pretty good idea of what internet chat rooms can be like
