Hey guys...
While I LOVE the Café and am on a lot reading and posting, the silly thing won't let me log out for some reason. I hit the log-out button and the page refreshes and indicates that I'm still logged in (Initial page you are taken too when you first log in) Any ideas? Thanks, Terry (Prof. Piper)

Now, how does a basically computer idiot go about doing that? Are they chocolate chip? LOL Honest, I don't know how to do that...I'm using Win98. Thanks, Terry

Terry,
If you are using Internet Explorer, click on Tools,Internet Options and then click on the "delete cookies" button. If you are using anything else, I'd look in the help area, searching for "cookies". That should get you there. Steven

I've posted this before, but if you're having trouble logging out, the problem may be able to be fixed without going into your cookie folder. Of course, that depends on what system you're running, what browser you're using, etc.
First, go to the index page and click the logout button. I know, I know - you've already done that - but this does work for most people. Now, take a look at the address (URL) in your browser's address line and note whether the address includes the "www" after the two slashes. If the address includes the "www" after the two slashes, go into the address manually, remove the "www." part of the address, then hit enter. When the resulting page comes up (it will look the same), click the logout link again. You should be logged out. If the address does not include the "www" after the two slashes, go into the address manually, add "www." after the two slashes, then hit enter. When the resulting page comes up (it will look the same), click the logout link again. You should be logged out. That's what I've advised before, and it has seemed to work well without going into the cookie folder.
Somebody kick me off the computer, will ya?
