You don't have to purchase the M5 from E, there are many other places you can get it from. I bought my M5 from my local magic shop.(which cost less than on E)

I've got one that came from E. I haven't used it much though. I think maybe this will be more useful around children. I just don't see how people would not instantly think there is a m***** involved. I know I did.

It all depends on how you use it. If you always use it to move metal objects, well I guess someone might catch on. It is a thinking magician's tool. There are so many ways to use it. I still use mine, but never on obvious metal object. Balancing toothpicks on top of each other, balancing a peanut on a card, making a grape move in someones hand, etc, etc...

Yep, an M5 type item can be had from lots of on-line dealers that specialize in that type of item..... but I think the complete kits you purchase from a magic dealer help to get a person thinking in the right direction..... like Gospel Dan (neat ideas).

BTW, for anybody contemplating an M5 purchase (or those that already have one), be sure and check out the new Ben Harris effect Enlightenment, being discussed in the Latest and Greatest section of the Magic Café. The M5 should work as an awesome "drive" for this exciting new levitation tool.

Yep, it works if you strap it to your leg. You can't finger palm it and if you strap it to your arm it's not at the right angle for lift off.

M5=Pro Pk Kit by the way. Penguin Magic and Ellusionist sell the same magnet, booklet and various small shimmed items that come with it. The only difference is you can also buy Brad Christian's booklet on the Pro PK kit. When it comes to the magnet forums, Elluionist has the better one.
