For those that don’t know, Particularly Brits, There is going to be the world’s largest Magic convention at Blackpool on the 22nd 23rd and 24th Feb in Blackpool.

But it will include Michael Ammar, Tom Mullica, Jay Sankey and David Williamson amongst others.

It would be good if us Magic Cafe members get together at some point during proceedings.

By the Way, I am not connected to the convention in anyway, I just had a great time there last year, and this year promises to be just as good.

Last year I had to re-mortgage the house because I spent so much, and the friday and saturday night are still just a haze.

I'm thinking that probably the best time would be after the Saturday evening performances. Midnight-ish, and probably an Indian or Chinese meal. I am up late anyway, but is this too late? Anyone not OK with this let me know. I am open to suggestions.



Also, anyone got any recomendations,for the restaurant. Must be near the Winter Gardens, and open late.

This is actually my local convention, I'm only 30 miles away and I go there fairly often (My hobby is ballroom dancing and Blackpool is THE place to go) so I'll have a look round for a suitable place next time I'm there if you like

I had a good look around Blackpool today but because it's winter (what an excuse)!!! everywhere closes early.
I can only suggest the cafe at the convention may stay open but I don't really know. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know of any dealers that are going to be at Blackpool? Any from the USA?

Hundreds of them. actually that's an exageration........... but not much of one.

Last year there was an area about the size of a football pitch full of dealers, everything from thimbles to illusions.

I'll be taking my new WATER COOLED CREDIT CARD!!!
