How long does a ring-neck dove's egg cycle last? And what changes should I make in diet/care? I'm new to dove ownership so I could use some tips from the veterans on this one.

Hello Jon. Always glad to meet another dove guy. I'm not sure what you mean by an egg cycle but basically a dove will lay eggs between February and October. There are exceptions and they will occassionally lay during the winter. It takes about 16 to 20 days normally for an egg to hatch and a few weeks later, the hen will be ready to lay again. If you don't want the babies, just remove the egg. It takes about 10 days after that for the cycle to begin again. If you have any other questions, just ask.
