How on earth does #16 Geraldo Rivera get selected on this list? If you want irrating reporter, try Bill O'Reilly! Metal Floss needs to question its floss...

Ha! I wouldn't mind adding my own.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |

Paganini was spoiled: He once lost his violin in a gambling debt, but didn't learn anything from his mistake, because a local merchant gave him a top-quality replacement just for the honor of hearing him play. 2. Paganini was a brat: In 1834, Paganini commissioned composer to Hector Berlioz to write an entire symphony just for him. When he received the work, he decided it wasn't challenging enough for him and never played it. 3. Paganini was a show-off: He used to engineer strings to break during his performances, just so he could show how wonderfully he could still play with the remaining strings. 4. Paganini was melodramatic: He would become hysterical anytime his violin had to be repaired. He would demand to watch the entire repair, sweating, pacing and jumping around in pain the entire time. He even claimed to feel the tools enter his own flesh! Quote:

Geraldo seems to have a penchant for the melodramatic and sensational on a grand scale, as evidenced by... ...hosting the first airing of the Zapruder film of the Kennedy Assassination ...hosting the opening of Al Capone's empty vault ...hosting his own talk show, which actually included topics like "Men in Lace Panties and the Women Who Love Them" ...revealing the location of US troops in Iraq in 2003 ...vowing to shave his moustache if Michael Jackson were convicted of child molestation I'll grant you that Bill O'Reilly can be annoying, but what does Bill O'Reilly have that's annoying on that scale?!? As an aside, I note that no one is commenting on, or contesting, #11. |

I agree with the Andy vote definetely
But feel Anna Nicole should be on the Top 20 easily.
Thanks! Scott B.

This list is all screwy. I don't watch much TV, but a decade or so ago I would regularly watch the Olympics. For some reason, a lot of the figure skaters and gymnists are supremely annoying. Tops on my list is Tara Lipinski. That combination of the squeeky little voice and the perkiness makes my hair stand on end. Don't get me started on Tonya Harding, that's way beyond annoying...
The great thing about this list is that we can search for common annoying characteristics and try to eliminate them from our public personas, unless we are deliberately including them as character flaws. Yours, Paul |

How could we have forgotten Jar Jar Binks! Well, OK, he's not a real person, but neither is Big Bird or (arguably) Michael Jackson.
