Okay.
Not sure when... but long ago maybe the 60's I'm trying to find photos of when my dad built the big doll house and produced Uncle Jay (Marshall) dressed in drag. If anyone knows who or where I can find them please post here or email or call me. I want to see Jay dressed as a woman... the only person who could have taken some is Iriving Desfor. But I don't know who owns his collection and where its at. k.thx.

Most, if not all, of Desfor's vast portfolio of magic-related photographs was donated by Desfor many years ago to Bob Lund's American Museum of Magic, and that's where they currently reside. Clay

I didn't know that Irving donated
them to the Magic Museum in Marshall, MI. I can call them and find out. I'm hoping that there are other sources out there too.

There is an index to all the photos of the Desfor collection. Bob had a graduate student from the University of Toledo catalog them all. Basically, it tells when, where and who in photo not what they are doing.
Elaine Lund has early stages of alzhemiers so I do not know how much help she could be. David Mayer may be able to help you out on this quest. I should dig in my Magifest negatives and send you some scans of a little girl in a Zig Zag. Hope all is well with your dad and mom. Richard

I didn't know about Elaine.
Well, I'll call there anyway, because at least they might be able to figure something out. I know this happened before my parent's met. So it might have been in the mid-late 60's. I think it would be a gem of a photo if someone has it. Jay in Drag. ha!

Very sorry to hear this about Elaine
I heard that Elaine had hired someone to open the museum from time to time. David Meyer may have that name. Clay |

Hello,
I am the curator of the American Museum of Magic. Robert Lund purchased the Desfor collection it was not donated or given to the museum. Elaine is doing fine, but the day to day activities have been given to me. If you have any questions, would like a tour or in search of research material, please contact me at: info@americanmuseumofmagic.org Jim Klodzen |

My sincere apologies in my errors.
I am very glad that Elaine is doing well. Am I correct that there is an index to the photos? Richard

I didn't even know about Elaine.
We haven't been to the museum in many many moons. But I remember when Bob would always open the place up and let us in when we stopped by. He loved having professionals stop on by. I have very good memories of being there. Jim, I will call or email you sometime soon.
