I came across these 2 amazing genii magazines in an atique bookstore 1936 nov and dec Vol 1.
I think these must be rare? I have contacted Richard Kaufman and he does not have these, does anyone else? Amazing articles in them....a letter from Beatrice Houdini in one wishing a merry X-mas to the pcam! Thinking of selling them. AG

"Rare" ends up being a very subjective term. Some people think Ricky Jay's "Cards as Weapons" is rare, even thought thousands of copies wer printed. If rare, say, means that less than 100 copies are known to exist, then these issues are not rare. Many folks have complete files of Genii. Good luck with selling them! Clay

I have a complete file of Genii. It is is fun reading, but maybe not rare.
Another factor is how brittle the paper is that it was printed on. Many of the early magazine were not only printed in small quantities but on paper that has rotten away after the years. I wish Richard would put together a CD version of the Genii files with indexes as they have done with many other magazines. It is really helpful for researching things. Richard
