Can I jus ask a question:doesnt da audience suspect why da whole stage is covered in black? I have seen Copperfield jus dim da lights instead of wallpapering da whole stage black. So how do you advise the use of BA

Why doesn't the audience suspect anything when a base of a box is 12 inches thick, or your hand is held a little different when you make a coin disappear? It's because they don't know what to look for. Not many people know the principle of black art and if you make the BA look good, they won't suspect anything. It's more about entertaining the audience than fooling them, but you can definetly do both with BA.
