Here is a Limerick I wrote years ago as a student, I still write it on the board as a teacher on test days.....

Today is the day of your test
and I hope that your minds have been blessed
if your thoughts come in muddy
and your answers are cruddy
I'll know from the scores that you guessed
Magic is like Science,
Both are fun if you do it right!

For those not mathematically inclined:

A dozen a gross and a score,
plus three times the square root of four,
divided by seven
plus five times eleven
Equals nine squared and not a bit more.

Here's a more complicated classroom limerick for you:

Image

Translated:

Integral z-squared dz
from 1 to the cube root of 3
times the cosine
of three pi over 9
equals log of the cube root of 'e'.
