What do you mean by "Metamorphisis"

I mean which version are you talking about?

Do you mean Metamorphisis as in a standard Sub trunk? If so, there are many versions and plans out there.

If you mean Metamorphisis as in the David Copperfield version of this effect, then I don't think that he will be publishing the plans to it just yet!

So let me/us know what version you mean and I'm sure that I/we/us can help point you in the right direction.

Chris Angel has BY FAR the fastest metamopohosis I've ever seen.. (just ask him.. I'm sure he'd tell you over and over, then flex his abs)..

In Chris Angel's case it's probably just the worlds fastest film editor.

To stay on track here, look at Paul Osborne's web site for plans. He has two styles. Both plans are available in the Classic illusions book 1.
You can also look for the Byron Wells books on Illusions.
Either source will give you what you need to construct one on your own. I built one using Osborne's plans and it worked like a champ.

New Concepts Magic Supplies also has a set of plans for a Substitution Trunk. Says they are adapted from Paul Osborne's version. Includes instructions for the bag and curtain as well.

I don't own a set of their plans, but I've heard nothing but good things about it from others.

NCMS will take that as a compliment! Thanks. The Metamorphosis Plans we put together are based on Osborne's. We changed the design a bit for easy construction, and simplified the illustrations. They'll take you step-by-step in the construction process, and gives you a complete list of materials and tools needed along with the measurements of everything you'll need. These plans were actually designed from my own notes when I built my trunk. I looked at Osborne's and said, "Huh?" I knew we could come up with something better, and I feel we did. We began building a new trunk and making notes along the way. Once we were finished, we put the notes in a manuscript form and "Viola". From what we've heard, it's one of the best out there. If you have any questions, I'd be glad to answer them....as long as there's no exposure.
