When it comes to mnemonic techniques, there are many systems out there. But, there is no better bargain, in my opinion, that Harry Lorayne's "How to Develop a Super Power Memory." You can buy it on Amazon in either paperback or hardback. You can even get used copies. But, it contains so much information for such a modest price that you can't go wrong. Sure, Harry has a healthy ego, but when it comes to memory training, he is THE man. Have you seen him memorize all the members of the audience? Incredible.

If you want a simple stack that can be learnt in a few minutes (yeah)
Dave Stuyvesant Easy Stack. It's superb learn it and never forget it no fancy remembering pictures or walking down a lane seeing eight sticks etc. I learnt this in a few minutes myself, did a few jaw dropping routines that come with it and then left it for a few months as I had a break from working the restaurants,Forgot about it then I got this call to do some mentalist type work and "bam"i come across the dave stuyvesant easy deck manuscript and there was no need to brush up on it.It just rolled of my tongue like pavaroti singing nessun dorma. The bonus is that you can pick up the stack from any point you don't have to keep running it from the begining to get to the card. Ebay was where I bought it.I think it's avaiable from http://www.zelini.co.uk |

Bought Harry's full blown Memory Power system this week on CDROM with workbook. Within a few hours I was laughing out loud at myself remembering the first 15 random words, forward and backward. I wish I had known about this 30+ years ago.
You can bet I'll be learning Tamariz' stack soon! THANKS HARRY! |
