Here is the add copy for this little gem.
This brass paddle performs amazing feats of magic! It is taken from within a small velvet bag and shown to have 3 small rubber bands on it. Both sides of the paddle are shown to be blank. A Penny is removed from the bag and placed under one of the rubber bands. The paddle is given a shake and Pennies begin to multiply until a total of 6 Pennies appear. The six Pennies are removed, one at a time. The paddle is again shown blank on both sides. Now, with another flick of the wrist, a real dollar bill appears under the three rubber bands. The dollar bill is removed and the performer offers to explain this amazing feat. "It's all done with mirrors," he states and immediately the paddle is shown to bear 3 small mirrors on both sides, under the rubber bands! This is the classic money paddle outdone in a high quality brass version. Easy to perform, comes with velvet carry pouch, all necessary props and 2 routines! I got mine Saturday. The rubber bands that came with it were toast on delivery. I quickly found that folding half bands fit and worked perfect. The paddle is designed with a weight distribution that will actualy enhance your move. Very nice for a change, a prop that helps you perform magic. I was a little skeptical as to the effect on specs. An hour of practice was enough to master one of the routines that is supplied and create one of my own as well.( I already have experience with the move ) THE GOOD: Great effect and the done with mirrors bit even threw my wife off, and she is pretty quick on this stuff living with me. THE BAD: The paddle is not Brass. It is pewter with brass plating, and an antique wash finish. It is much softer metal than brass and easy to bend and break if not careful. Its also not an effect that is exactly as described above, but there is still plenty to work with. Missing Instructions: Fold the bill in half, and then from there fold it in thirds for the proper fit. Price: $25.00 U.S. Its fooled every single layperson so far. I got it to replace my hotrod and its one of my best upgrade trades ever. Did anyone else get one?

Yes, I was far too harsh in my original posting in reflection to pricing and have edited it.
It is worth every Penny. The only paddle effect I have ever owned, that looks like real magic. I own, Ice cream schtick, the traffic paddle, a couple hot rods, and one with symbols. All of them went in the junk box. This is now showcased by one of the Café sponsors Wizards-magic for $21.95. Just an FYI.

Hey buddy,
I don't know if you're trying to get to 50 posts in order to get into different parts of the forum, or if you are, in fact, a moron. Either way your posts will get deleted and they're not going to count if you're just posting garbage in a bunch of threads. |

The Money Paddle is a great trick, probably one of the best "paddle" tricks, in my opinion. I like to produce the coins in pairs, which I think is a little more mystifying. If you carry it in your shirt pocket, it is always ready to go and you can remove it for display knowing the correct side will be showing.
You might also want to take a look at a slightly more expensive aluminum paddle, click HERE to view, or a very inexpensive but perfectly good plastic paddle, click HERE. Hank Lee also used to sell a nice wooden Money Paddle for about $20, but I didn't see it listed. SETH

It sounds good, one of these days I plan on getting some type of money paddle. I have seen a few but do not own any. My favorite paddle effect is Shattered by Chance Wolf but the money paddle is definitely different from that and something worth having it sounds like. Sorry to hear about the material used, it would be nice to think of it as something that will last. Especially if it becomes something close to a favorite, etc.
And by the way, when someone posts a repeat, it should not be assumed that it is on purpose. Sometimes you can type out a reply or post and when "submit" is hit nothing seems to happen... so then you try to remember what you had typed, do it all over again (more easily accomplished if it's a short post) and then you find out the first one did take but just didn't show up as quickly as normal. Weird but it happens, it's happened to me. That is very likely what happened with TINSMAGIC. Magicsquared wrote... " OUCH, kind of like "when magicians attack" but perhaps its just a misundderstanding. I also realize it wasnt like he was adding anything of value to the discussion but the doubling up could have been unintentional, just my 2 or 3 cents worth. GlenD

BSutter is right about the Wolfsmagic paddles. They are gorgeous (as is all his stuff).

It's actually a very nice rework of the old Cash Paddle which is one of the best paddle tricks ever devised. Best,

Speaking of money paddles. I have found an old trick in my stuff that I do not have the original instructions for.
It is a short handled paddle with green felt and has a couple of magentic pennies (atually the paddle is magnetic, the pennies are some type of steel). Anybody have the instructions for this (just to complete the package)? Thanks |

Ok well, maybe he is guilty. Not my problem and I wont make any comments about future behavior issues unless its to a staff member.
Take care.
