I do many gospel shows but I may doing some shows in the future for some large audiences and may have to fly to the shows. I am trying to put together a show that will fit into a check-in bag.

Now here is my idea, I like the idea of walking through a mirror but any mirror I could use would be to big to fit into a suitcase. I need something I can build that will breakdown to suitcase size. It also must fit into my patter as the message is the most improtant part of the show.

My patter deals with seperation from Christ. I want to illustrate that we allow many things to come between us and Christ but He will draw us to Him, even if it seems that our circumstances wouldn't allow.

I want something that people could relate to but easily substitute in their own mind the thing that keeps them from Christ.

I have two thoughts....
-- Use a person from the audience and blindfold them. As many times we allow others and the way they think to keep us from walking with Christ.

-- The other is to tell a story of someone allowing themself to slide away from God and then how they were drawn back to Him. A story that tells of a particular sin or item or instance that I could representation of to use as an illustration.

Any ideas?

Why not do this with rope? It gets the same points across, packs small and I'd be surprised if you can't already do it. (If not, we'll teach in Birmingham some night.)
