Hi:
I know it's such a cliché', but does anyone here have a routine that involves actually losing something up your sleeve? I was just fooling around the other day with some coins and came up with a way to get a coin in my sleeve unnoticed and produce it soon after (I'm sure I didn't invent it!). It looked so good, (even to me) that I've included it as part of a coin flurry I do and it kills. Usually when you're holding out, the specs have an idea that you're doing so, they're just not sure when or how, but there's something to be said for making a coin actually DISAPPEAR! I'm not a card guy, but I'm sure the same could be done. So, show me your sleeves, anything in there? |

Here's a free trick I used to do as a kid.
Don't dismiss it because of it's simplicity, try it out. Take a hankerchief and tie a piece of rope to one end. The rope goes up the slieve and is attached to the inside of the jacket. The lenght should be so that when your arm is bent the hankerchief shows in your hand. Tuck the hankie in your hand and stretch your arm. The hankie dissapears automatically up your sleeve. Steve |

I've seen a gimmick similar to this idea, so yes, people do vanish things up their sleeves!!! (I'm actually thinking of getting it as it's a nice alternative to the TT, with nothing to worry about ditching afterwards.)
Paul By the way... the handkercheif works better with elastic... quicker vanish... or to add a nice distraction, vanish it from a loo roll in your hands, that'll give 'em something to ponder next when they're doing their business!!! |
