Gee, Steve, you sure closed down my topic quickly! Is there no place for Jewish magicians to discuss their profession in these pages, then? Well, maybe it's best not to mix magic with religion, so I guess we'll have to do away with the Good News section. Hmm?

Not at all. You asked a question and I told you it was not likely going to happen. Since I answered your question and I'm not going to debate with members regarding the decisions that I make here, I felt the subject is now closed, so I locked the topic. todsky said; "Is there no place for Jewish magicians to discuss their profession in these pages, then?" I never said or implied such a thing. Any magical subject can be discussed in these forums provided they are placed in the appropriate area and follow the forum rules and guidelines that everyone agrees too when they join The Café. Just because we do not provide a forum to fit your specific needs or interests does not mean we do not want that particular subject to be discussed. It can be, as stated above, if placed in the appropriate area. If none of our forums fit your particular interest, I apologize for the inconvenience. todsky said; "Well, maybe it's best not to mix magic with religion, so I guess we'll have to do away with the Good News section. Hmm?" For some odd reason your questions seem to have a very negative tone and border on being extremely confrontational and I'm not sure why. The Magic Café provides members with an enormous amount of variety and charges nothing for the service we provide. We ask members nothing in return and have found this formula to be very successful. If our services do not meet with your approval, again I apologize. Regarding The good news! forum, it will remain as a staple for our members who are gospel magicians. Gospel magic is fairly popular in the magic community, has its own organization (e.g, The Fellowship of Christian Magicians) and several companies which produce products aimed at this part of our industry. That said, it was a no brainer to provide those interested in that area their own forum. It is unfortunate, but due to bandwidth and other issues we simply are unable to provide each member who may have a specific interest their very own forum. If I was not clear enough previously, I hope that I am now. Thank you.
