Hi, everybody! My name is Jim. I've been doing magic for aprox 6 months now. Fairly new to this art, I guess. I'm 30 years old, I'm married and have two childeren, aged 1 and 4. So my practice-time is somewhat limited.
I started out in april this year with a few self-working card tricks, and soon I discovered that there were more to card magic than self-workers. So I got my hands on a few books and a DVD. Then I made the grande mistake of showing off to everybody long before I should have. So I have burried my card magic (at least for a while) and now I concentrate on coins. I found out that doing coin magic requires A LOT more practice, and this fact made me understand the importance of beeing good enough and confident enough, BEFORE actually showing ANYBODY the tricks. So I hope you all can forgive me for my mistake, and help me on my way towards becoming a good coin magician. I have been practicing coin magic for four months now without showing anything to anybody. And I do not plan to for a long while yet. Winter is coming up and coin magic helps me keep my hands warm Jim
