Just received a very interesting email which I followed up with a phone call.
Here is the story.
Six years ago I was working in Singapore performing Corporate Shows and after I finished my last show I flew to Australia for a weeks work, then back to New Zealand for a week before heading on a cruise ship. I packed my two suitcases and took the one I needed to Australia. My agent in Singapore sent on my extra bag which had some magic including my 'red and black suit', a very special coin bucket, clown shoes and other pieces I wouldn't need. The bag NEVER turned up, it just 'got lost' so I put it down to experience. After a year of not hearing what happened to the bag (my agent did send it) it somehow 'vanished'. Well six years later (yesterday) I got a call from an old friend who said that he got a phone call from a lady at 'Salvation Army' shop in his area who said she bought a 'box' of magic equipment and asked if he would have a look to see what it was worth. My friend looked at the props and in particular the 'red and black suit' and knew it was mine. Somehow it had found it's way back to New Zealand but at the other end of the island. My friend was good enough to contact me and is sending me the props, but what an amazing story. To get my memories back after losing them for six years.

There could be a moral to this story that maybe in the near future you could perform your world class act throughout NZ !!

Amazing story and is one of those reasons why some claim "Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction". I agree with Jaz, it also should be in Ripleys.

I would love to come back to NZ and perform my act one day ... who knows what is around the corner. I am on tour this Friday, not NZ however. Looks like I'll be coming down under next year on tour in Australia so hope to come back home to NZ.
