I bought an Alexander piece off of Ebay. They desribed it as a small poster, but it turns out to be the top of his stationary. It's a small version of the cradle to the grave poster. I laminated it (!) and decided to use it as a book mark. By the way, the book on Alexander is great.....cool history....

That's a pretty cool bookmark.
My poster for Cunning the Jail Breaker was very delicate and would have started crumbling if I hadn't had it dry mounted and then laminated to cover it.
If you want to keep something that's aged and brittle, the mylar sleeves allow you to remove it without damage. I am guessing that your "bookmark" is very colourful to look at!

Thanks for the comments on the book!
If you're in the area, I'll be lecturing about Alexander at the Magic Castle on Sunday, November 13th and in Las Vegas at the "Mindvention" at the Palace Station Hotel on Monday, November 14th.
Very few copies of the book remain, so get it while you can!

I'll see you at the Magic Castle! I'm glad you took this project on. I had a great time reading it. I figured out what I had bought, when I saw a letter from Alexander in the book!

Marshall,

I just visited your site. Impressive! You show things that I remember. Yet you appear to be from a much later time period. Are you into magic history or just like the art side of it?

It was odd the Red Skelton was on your site too. He was a favorite of mine. I never got to meet him but my dad saw him perform in the 50s. Christmas day, as he was going through some old tapes, my son (24) asked who Red Skelton was. He was a contagious good mood on two very big feet.

How do I answer your question.

I adore a certain period of
Magic History. It a part of
the History that has my timeline
directly linked and one that I
find to be quite fragile in
the history of Magic. Fragile
enough it could be forgotten
at the wink of an eye.

I am hypercreative and
hypergraphic.

I adore the creative arts.
