Im staring at my wallet today and came to the realization that after all these years I don't have a Card to Wallet in my repoitor(cant spell).
Anyway I'm in themarket trying to find one that will fit my needs. I need some help from you guys. Is there a wallet out there that will cover these issues

Can be used as a real world everyday non magical wallet, to include pictures, credit card etc.
Can carry either my Heirloom or KK effect?
As well as my cash which is never really much, just enough room for a few bills and my Hundy 500.
Not a long elegant wallet because I don't wear a coat and woulddnt want it to be easy to fall out or get taken.
And has a Card to wallet compartment.

I know I'm asking a lot but I hope you guys can help.

On his lecture notes cdrom Shawn Farquhar has a method that uses an ungaffed wallet. The signed card ends up inside one of the picture sleeves that some wallets have to hold photos and id cards. It's similar in method to teh Mullica Wallet but much less expensive. The notes CD costs $23.00 with shipping and the photo insert, if your wallet doesn't already have one that will hold a poker sized card, costs about $4-5 dollars more.

Magic Champion

Shawn's a full time pro so you know the method is practical.

Real Man's wallet...

Best there is and all I've ever recommended.

Do yourself a favor and buy one right away without thinking about it... then when looking back on this thread you can wonder why you were going to waste time with considering other wallets that people recommend.....

I'm not sure of the one I have but I use it for everyday use.
it's a standard size wallet with a button clasp to keep it shut, holds all my stuff.

for card in wallet- the card is in a zippered "change pocket" inside .(mercury folded).

Do you know what it is called. Im looking for something like that but I really need one that would also hold my Heirloom effect. If you are familiar with it.

I read it and it sounds great, just that one question still arrives. How many slots are there I need to fit 16 of what we all know.

Wsduncan, that Shawn Farquhar thing sounds similar to the card-to-wallet's-picture-sleeve from Dick Zimmerman's 1971 lecture notes, "Creative Magic." I think this is available for a few bucks used from H&R Books, at http://www.magicbookshop.com .

If he doesn't like The Real Man's Wallet, will you buy it from him?

Yes... after years of constant use some stitching on the edge of mine has started to come out(wallet is still fine its more cosmetic), so I could definatly deal with having a backup and have actually been looking at buying a backup.(from paisa only)

Anyway, it has 8 outs(not 16) but that is easily taken care of with presentation... heck the only "kk-ish" presentation I use is equivocue down to a single card in an envelope, so getting down to 8 is no problem.

I have no problems fully recommending the Real Man's Wallet though, its that good!!!

Ok - I found the name of the one I use, it's "pro card wallet" from http://www.magicmakersinc.com .(there's a pic at penguin but it's out of stock) http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=768

as for pockets - it can hold 9 credit cards,a picture(on a windowed flap) and has two other pockets, and the cash pocket.

The problem with this wallet is it doesn't look like a real wallet.

What a perdicament! How many of you guys who suggested a wallet perform either KK or Heirloom?
Like I said earlier these wallets aren't cheap and price is not the issue, I just need to make sure that it will cover what I need.

Let me tell you what I use as a hippocket wallet.

First though, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the RMW, which I own too, BUT my wish always was to use a zippered compartment.

The wallet I found is extremely well made, actually as well made as the RMW, the leather is top rate and I use it as my everyday hippocketwallet.

The picture on that site actually even shows, how great the wallet looks, eg. even the 'leather'.

http://www.funinc.com/xcart/customer/pro......p;page=1

There are countless slots for creditcards, a great billcompartment and a lot of other fascilities, the RMW (re an everyday wallet) doesn't have.

There though isn't included a loader, one has to make up one oneselfes, but, due to the constuction of the wallet, one also can load a crd without any loader.
This is due too the 'curve' of the folded wallet, that acts as a guide for the fingers.

I only can give my highest praise re this wallet, if it was rubbish, I wouldn't use it..

Here are the dimensions of the guide I made.

Easy to make, you just have to find a thin/elastisc/stiff piece of plastic you cut preferable with a hobby-knife and a ruler and round the corners with small scissors.

The colour of it should be black..

I actually did use the plastic of an old TDK videotape cover/case, but they probably don't come anymore in plastic these days, the one I used was over 20 years old..

The thickness of the sheet is .022 inch

Size:
3.080 x 3.61 inches

My highest recommendation re this prop...

One thing I though might have to mention is, that one has to learn to handle that wallet *the correct way* when removing it, as one side of it shouldn't get into view.
Now, this is absolutely no problem, when you have found out the how to do it naturally.

Basically- for those in the know- the wallet is pulled out/up from the right backpocket so the thumb covers the *slot* completely, your hand is parallel to the body, meaning the thumbs tip point directly to the specs, the wallet is at right angles to the thumbs lenght, wallet pointing to the left.

Simply pull it out as above, bring it forward as described and then the right hand does turn inwards at the wrist placing the wallet into the left hand.
Herefrom you open the wallet and proceed.

The handling looks 100% natural, you just pull the wallet out and open it.
Covering the slot is automatic, as you can feel it when you remove the wallet from the backpocket.

I know the above sounds complicated, but having the wallet at hand makes it easy to understand..there is NO move here, the wallet is just removed from the hippocket and opened! Smile

If there is a demand, maybe Frank Starsini would take it up in his line of products ?
Learn a few things well.....this life is not long enough to do everything.....

as well for YOU!!!- My own magic is styled after that motto... Smile )

Peter Scarlett's Pimpernell Notecase(actually a billfold hip wallet) is pretty neat. It doubles as an everyday wallet and is a no-palm-card-to-wallet. It is absolutely ideal for Heirloom and KK.

Peter pops into the Café. Look him up and check out his website.

Hope this helps

Hm went to his site and read about it but no picture of it I would like to see it.

Oh disregard found the picture. Now you said it works as a Signed card to wallet and it would fit my heirloom? What about it being an everyday regular user friendly wallet?

How much is that price? 45 and that symbol?

Paisa If you do Kollosal Killer you really don't need a signed card in wallet.
