I think he means a teddy riding a unicycle. I've seen that.
My favourite single balloon creature: the pony. I always get remarks while I'm making the mane, because people can't believe that human hands can move that fast. |

Or how about the two bears kissing (one 260), there is a book on how to mike this one alone!
The Lady bug is really nice, but I make a ninja turtle for the boys.......... |

You can put a bear on a bike or a uni with a single 260.
My favourite single balloon model is the Starship Enterprise. George |

Hmmm, I do so few singles any more; I almost always add eyes or something to set me apart from the 'run of the mill' balloon maker. I guess the ladybug bracelet would be a good choice; I get lots of compliments on it at my restaurants; also at trade shows, open houses, company events, and other places where there may be more adults getting balloons than kids.
The little frog that can be squeezed to have the end of its tongue blow up is also cute. I would have said the crocodile, but since adding eyes to it, I rarely do it with only a single balloon; it is just SO much more powerful with the yellow eyes.

Hey Steve V:
The lady bug is made by blowing a balloon so it's about 4 or 5 inches inflated. There's a twist for the head, four for the legs, and one for the back. The rest of the baloon (the part that's not inflated) goes under the simple lady bug to make a wrist holder, so it goes on the child's hand kind of like a wrist watch. Then you put the sharpie marks on the back and eyes on the head. I learned it from Don Caldwell's "Blow Hard with a Vengence" tape. Ron |

A sausage. Just blow it up and tada. Best thing about it is there's no dangerous twisting involved!
I don't do balloons but sure like looking over creative designs made with balloons. I also can't be present when they are being made as all that squeekin' and twisting makes me wring my face and clench my fists expecting it to pop. Not a very enjoyable moment for me. That stresses me out! Geez I can do a card manip. act in front of any number of people but can't work a balloon. But the finished balloon is wow! I've seen some good stuff. *squeek*! *squeek!* *twist* *twist* *twist* *twist yet again!*....*squeek!* *squeek!* - voila! |

The best very simple balloon I make is a heart for a girl and a sword for a boy, because these are things they actually want. My favourite is probably my elephant but it changes day to day.

a heart for a girl and a sword for a boy The reason these are really "The best (simple) balloon model in the world"... Because (a) they are the absolute quickest thing you can do, amd (b) once you make one of these, NOTHING else will be requested the remainder of your stay! |

Pirate cutlass seems to be the big one for me. Both boys and girls go nuts over these.
