Well, I've made the switch. I had been using The Ultra Slim Card to wallet for a long time. It worked so well for table hopping, but the Anything Wallet is just plain easier and more spectacular.
Just my take on it.

Having used the wallet for a few more days the gimmick seems to have worn in and adthe wallet is now staying closed on the table. I did add a little extra weight as Doomo suggested to me.
I still need to jiggle the prop around a bit to make it work 100% of the time. The AW does get a good reaction but no more than paperclipped which is still my preferred variant of this kind of trick. |

Try some of the varient eccects such as the marked coin or the house key in the wallet. Also I am sending you a routine n private.

Received mine today and I think this is a clever construction. But I have the same problem as Sooty with staying folded on the table.
Which is the better way: keeping just closed (not creased) in the pocket and than open on the table? or Creasing the whole thing, so that it stays closed on the table? Thanks |

Received mine today. Neat gimmick. I don't own any other trick wallets, but this seems to work(and yes, it does work) on a totally different principle. I'm sure the signed coin and card routine will blow minds. Glad I bought it.
That said, for transpositions, nothing is stronger, cleaner, and easier than a $4 thumb tip and an empty cigarette box.

Finally got this. Really, really like it. Ingenious gimmick. Completely different than what I thought it was going to be. Actually, it's better.
Looking forward to using this at my next gig.

You don't have to have the wallet folded shut. Just closed will do.

This is a great utility item with a lot of potential. I'm currently having fun with an effect which Tony was kind of enough to share with me the other day over the phone.. boy what a killer routine, particularly in a bar setting! the possiblities are endless. I can't wait for a forum to exchange ideas.

Yeah, the more I play with this thing, the more I love it. I've got a lot of ideas. After playing with it for a few hours, mine is staying closed just fine.

I also contacted Anthony and he shared with me a mentalism effect with the wallet that is just killer. Not only a great idea for the wallet, but just a really great routine period! Can't wait to try it.

I am glad all of you liked the routine I sent you... I am adding them to the instructions. BUT, I wanted to thank Xiqual from the board here... He liked the wallet and came up with the idea of useing photos (similar to Heirloom". I thought wonderful, and ran with it. I came up with a way to do it without being "off by one" or needing a big index in the wallet. It has proven to be a killer. Thanks James/Xiqual.
Bearing all this in mind I have to say, I am VERY proud of the Anything Wallet. Thank You David Goring! PS, you will see the Anything Wallet at nate Kranzo's lectures this year... He has some interesting takes on it.... http://www.rfaproductions.com

And to James Lin (Xiqual) a big thank you! James sugested the idea of using the Anything Wallet to do Heirloom and Room Service... Both of these ideas REALLY got my motors turning. Once again, thank you Jmes!

Well Tony shared some of the ideas that people have been sending him.
I must say that some of them are quite brilliant.... I especially like the KK variation, without the need to be off by one. Good work guys, David |

I never liked the off by one idea of KK. Kenton and I have talked about it and he feels it's stronger, but I think when you nail their card, it's much stronger. The off by one seems more like a gag.

I can't tell you how many times I use this a night at my restaurant gigs. It's become my go to card to impossible location effect when I really want to fry people.

MagicChris and I have mentioned this product in the ToiBox thread and since it's probably a good idea to keep that thread on track, I thought I'd resurrect this thread to talk for a second about Anything Wallet.
First, it's been several months since I received my Anything Wallet and I still love it and use it all the time. This is not one of those tricks that one gets jazzed about for a couple of weeks and then winds up collecting dust in a drawer. Not for me anyway. It's a really strong utility device. It can be used as a wonderful folded card to impossible location prop (or any other small item). And it packs flatter than any card to box. Or any regular sized wallet for that matter since it fits comforably in your breast pocket. Plus, you can show the wallet empty after the card is removed. Second, right now Hocus Pocus is having a big inventory clearance sale. They are offering the Anything Wallet for a very good price. So if you don't have one, check out Hocus Pocus right now. I think the sale ends tomorrow (Tuesday night).

It just goes in my top pocket and I'm ready to fry people. No one ever questions the wallet, which is what makes this so workable. Chris
