Ok... Have spent all week sending out MoFo's and Anything Wallets. You all should be getting them very soon... Also, in my last major shipment, I included extra items with 1 in 5 of every order. But I have yet to hear back from any of you... So let me know if you even noticed...

Okay, I'm probably going to catch flak from everyone here, but I'll give you an honest review of this effect. And, I'm not going to participate further because I'm sure I'm going to get defensive responses, but this is a forum for opinions and the following is mine alone.

So, there's no misconception, I ordered MoFo awhile back and think it is excellent, so there is no bias here toward the inventory/manufacturer/seller. But, this was a disappointment to me. An earlier post said it was "like a wallet you'd carry your business card in..." and that is somewhat true, but a more accurate description would have been like a wallet that packet tricks come in, a small thin vinyl plastic wallet with clear windows inside. It also stated that this has not been done with a wallet before and that is not entirely true, although I'm sure that statement could be interpreted to be true, depending on whether you're buying this trick or selling it. There was a Japanese coin purse, made of leather ironically, which functioned in the same manner years ago. That purse was specifically for coins; this one is for more items, most notably a folded card, however the mechanics are quite the same.

It's not fair, nor is it allowed, to give secrets away and that is as it should be, but I'll say there are many other props that use the basic concept of this item, with different mechanics, which are far better. Granted, they cost about twice the price, but, in my estimation, the extra cost is well worth it.

This is a so-so item that I doubt many will actually use and this is a real candidate for that famous drawer we all have at home. One has already popped up on this site for sale, and I think many will follow.

Now, if anyone wants to get on my case, feel free to do so, but that is my opinion and it stands. I won't defend my opinion because it is just that.

Sorry you did not like it... On the other hand, I have a lot of other responses from people who do... So go figure... I carry it with me all the time and find a lot of chances to use it. It takes up almost no space and does exactly what it advertises to do...

I'll have mine soon and will post a detailed review. I have a feeling this is going to be a must have carry item. So....I've set the bar high for it.

My criteria is simple: will it make laymen freak when I perform with it.

That's it. I don't care if the idea isn't new. I care what my audience thinks.

Wow. I'm curious as to what people don't like about it. Might be receiving this as a gift. I don't care if it looks like a packet wallet. Sounds like a really useful utility item.

Actually, in previous posts in this thread I have described he exact dimensions of the wallet, its material construction-vinyl, and its general purpose-business card holder... As far as function, the wallet does just what we say it does. And a lot more. We tried VERY hard not to do ANYTHING that could be considered wrong. So far, from the other people who have got their wallets the response has been quite good. And the people who are actually using it have been very generous in their praise. It is a utility item that will prove to be very useful to those who appreciate it. Like all our products, we had people try it out before it was released. The results were all excellent in every performing situation from restaurants to walk around. So I am completely satisfied with the practicality of The Anything Wallet.

If you don't care if it looks like a packet wallet, then you should love it. I think it's pretty ingenious and well made. Everything in the description was accurate. We're all used to seeing those little plastic wallets, so perhaps this is a real magician fooler. I'll probably stick with my Kennedy Mystery Box, but this is portable, relatively inexpensive, and versatile.

I carry a packet wallet that I use for business cards and carry B'wave and a couple of other items. So, the anything Wallet, from what Anthony so generousely gave every detail about, except how it works, will work for me as far as carrying it.

For those who have gotten their wallets, here is a routine I came up with... I have tried it out in 2 bars. Effect is as follows. Wallet is tabled in full view with a red backed folded card in it. A blue backed deck is spread face up. A card is named. Thedeck is put away. The wallet is opened. The red backed card is removed. It is unfolded. The wallet is empty. On the back of the folded card is written "My Prediction".The card is turned over and it is the named card. I have done it 4 times now in 2 different bars... It killed. And of course it resets INSTANTLY for the next table.

Write me if you want the details.

I received The Anything Wallet today. I find it very interesting. Whenever I order an effect, I think back to the advertisement.. At first glance, it’s everything Anthony Miller said you’d get.

I will not post a review until I go through the booklet and set the wallet up and perform it for Laymen.

I will tell you this,: there is a myriad of thoughts spinning in my head about the possibilities. At first I thought "why isn’t this set up to perform now?”

I started reading the booklet and I realized there is a chance, that maybe, some folks want to perform something other than card to wallet. Lol. The possibilities with this are so vast.

I’m going to go through it all and post a review in a separate topic.

I'm very intrigued by this!!!
