Here's a question: What time do you begin/end your magic shift? I work in an Applebees from 6pm-9pm on kids night. Towards the end of my shift, there tends to be almost nobody in the restaurant. I still have a FEW tables but it's not packed. I was curious to see what times you guys were working there?

I work 5-8 on one gig and 6-8 another and 7-9 on another.

All of my restaurants are 6:00-8:00 PM. My adult bar and club gigs generally run from 9:00-11:00 PM....sometimes midnight for a fun & responsive (translation: tipping) crowd. Over the summer, two restaurants tried 7:00-9:00 PM, but the kids tend to thin out drastically after 8:00.
I try to keep these types of gigs down to two hours as a personal preference. :o) Skipster

Mainly lunches at the weekend from from 12 - 2pm.
Occasionally I'll do an odd evening that usually lasts from 7 - 10pm. |

Hello,
I do 7:30-9:30 on Saturday nights. There are still some patrons coming in towards the end. |

Yeah that's kind of what I thought. I'm thinking about asking if they'd like me to come in earlier because there seems to be way more people there by the time I get there than by the time I leave. I've been doing this for about a year and a half now.
