I've just got into this trick and was ondering if anyone has a good Christian patter to go with it that they are willing to share.
I guess there are trinity themes and such, but my dyslexic brain can't think of anyting that makes sence.

Color monty was one of the first packet tricks I bought, and I have worn out a number of sets of the cards. But I have never tried to put a message with it.
Also, I havent performed it for last 5-6 years, so mayne that is why. As soon as I find my instructions so I can play with it again, I will put some thought into it. BroDavid

One could work up an effect about the Trinity and then instead of the normal given card, have one with a question mark on it...
And end it with, "Everything clear now?" I have used a skit based on "Who's on first," to get at how the Trinity can be very confusing. Perhaps it could go along with this effect. RevJohn |

Or... we talk about the new modern way of taking offering.
Mmm. Maybe not. |

I've been thinking about a
'fitting God in' patter where the red cards are your 'too busy' times, and the blue card is 'God time' so you're too busy to pray, too busy to let the light out, but you go to church on Sunday. then you can look for the God time (all red cards now) then show the blue for God looking after you. maybe finish with, (red) you're busy (blue) but you need to make time for God, final card... not too sure, but I like the ? card with a 'can you put God first' question.

Someone ought to see if Emerson and West would allow a Christian printed theme and patter to be sold. I think it would be a hit.

Do the trick as normal. Then at end talk about gambling, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Not trusting in Jesus is like gambling with your eternity. That is a bet I would not want to make. With Jesus there is no bet, there is no "I hope I did enough to win". It is guaranteed! A great DVD to check out is Veristal Monte. It will show you how you can make your own custom cards. Then you can have a different card at the end like a cross.
Nothing of the same will bring any change, take action today!

I love using this tick its ggreat and very easy to do.. that's why I like it I i have not put a message with it but one thought would be how easy we are fooled in to thinking that money it the only way we can be happy saying that we are always looking to make and easy buck or 2 and that its not realy that easy but one thing that we could all do is make a better life for our selfs not looking for how we can make money but how we can make God happy...

If you want to make your own custom cards, just take some steel wool and rub off the ink. Now you have a blank card to paint, draw or write whaterver you want.

Guys you can buy a deck of blank cards. No need to do any scrapping.

Jasonmagic,
Years ago I bought a gospel version of colour monte. It had 3 cards - Jesus Satan and the finish card was an open Bible picture and the words Search the Scriptures. The patter briefly was we want Jesus to be first, last and at the centre of our lives but sometimes the more we try on our own strength, Satan seems to be all around. How do we resolve this? Search the scriptures. I have long since worn it out and haven't been able to find out who makes it.

A deck of blank cards is only $6. Geeez
A great card trick to learn that uses blank cards is called the Happy Birthday trick. It is on one of Doc Eason's DVD's. You can however, write any message other than happy BD you want on the card including gospel themes.
