Wondering what you guys think is the best ending for an egg bag routine.

Producing a live elephant from a malini bag is by far the best ending.
It just seems so impossible.

What do you think is the best you've seen so far in your eggbag adventure Johnny?
What have you studied so far?

Well I have always used the wooden egg "laid by a decoy" showing it won't crack at first and end with a real egg, cracking it open in a glass.

What about producing a rubber chicken?
You know you are a magician when you have boxes full of lecture notes you have never read, but still are excited about going out and buying more.

Dan Harlen does a golf ball routine (like egg bag) and ends with appearing golf club.

I perform the Martin Lewis routine. The look of shock on the volunteer's face is priceless! Although it seems to be a standard routine, it was the one routine that I performed to get first place in a competition.

I'm with Alan on this one. The Egg Bag is more about the reactions of your volunteers than it is about the egg or the bag. The final look of shock on the volunteer's face when she discovers the egg in the bag right in her own hands is hard to beat. When you can get that you don't need a golf club, rubber chicken, whiskey glass or elephant to finish.

You hand the "empty" egg bag to your helper and it begins to grow fatter and fatter in their hands. You take the egg bag back and remove an inflated balloon. Ta-dahhh!

I was thinking of ending with an ostrich egg. Do you guys know of anyone that does that?

Here's the best ending to the egg bag. Produce a series of real eggs from the bag one after the other. Get a child to hold them. As he keeps dropping them, ignore him. Trust me..nothing beats this. I saw The Great Levante perform this in Australia years ago!!

You can use mine. After it has vanished....

"You know what boys and girls... that egg plays tricks on me... It's true...It breaks itself into hundreds of pieces and flys over the heads of the audience...Now reach up, ...grab a piece of that egg, and when I count to three, throw it into the bag and I'll catch it.

You too, Mom and Dad... (Teachers or whoever)....One...Two...Three... There it is, Thanks a lot, now I got the egg back, I can do this trick again. Thanks...."

I use a see through (mesh) egg bag, and do my version of the standard, egg under the arm routine with kids. (This is the little darling section, so I choose not to do the Marlini egg bag.)

Gazzo just came out with an eggbag DVD.
There are some good ideas on that DVD.

He has a sucker elemenet that is quite nice along the lines of the under the arm
thingy.

Nice to see someone uses the mesh egg bag. It is the best in my opinion, and I have used all the others. It is actually the most underated egg bag on the market, but it beats Marlo, Malini, Lewis and all the others in my opinion.

OK, let’s see if I remember this one…

If you take a pair of binoculars and look though them backwards at an elephant, this will make him smaller. You can then take a pair of tweezers and place him in your egg bag.

(Back in the early 60’s my mother made an elephant catching kit like this for a relative in the Navy.)

Gazzo's is done with a malini bag but the ideas can certainly be carried over to the mardo egg bag. especially the one really good idea with the li**.

it is worth getting if you do the trick.
