Sinful gets my vote as well. I really hope people give this effect the practice it deserves before performing it. It really lived up to my expectations!

The Invisble Deck. OK it's not new but it's still the best card trick on the market in 2005. Just ask almost any working pro. It still KILLS the lay audience.

Hmmm... I hate it when you guys ask this question?

It's a tie between Indecent, Icarus and Sinful.

I'm going to have to say Sinful is very clean. Is the method published somewhere? Where can I get this trick?

Hi Walter, this DVD is been put out my Criss Angel and can be found at many good magic dealers, namely Hocus Pocus, it is the 1st Mastermind DVD to come out, highly recommended

Copies of the limited edition 'MindPlay' still available

Rhine sence is top notch for a pro worker--I would say it's a little out of the curiouses price range

but the simplicity and effect---it kills I mean you'll learn it in about 5 seconds and it kicks butt

If Eric can vote for his fantastic "Phoney" Magnet, I can vote for the slightly better Silent Treatment.

I vote for Deep Astonishment 2 and Todd Lassen's Gravity Flipper.

They are my best purchase in 2005.

Can't the "Silent Treatment" and the "Phoney" Magnet tie for first?

I'm so excited... what happens when I reach 100 posts in the Magic Café? Do I get free pie? Do bells go off? Do I get everything in the cash register? WHAT??? Guess I'll have to wait till I have other intelligent things to say... ***, that could be a while... I'll never hit a hundred...

What have I actually used most and gotten the greatest reaction from? The Triple Threat gaff made by Todd Lassen. Mine is made with worn Morgan dollars.

It's incredibly versatile and makes possible very clean productions and vanishes you can't do any other way. See Todd's website.

My vote for best utility prop for 2005 is definitely Peter Nardi's Stealth Assassin wallet. If used well this is truly an invisible prop for mentalists that 'flys by' yet achieves so much. Also think best book is Juan Tamariz - 'Mnemonica' , THE complete tomb on the memorized deck.
