Mark Wilson- For sparking my interest in magic when I was a child in the '60s.
Paul Diamond- A mountain of a man with a heart just as big to boot, and who sold me on coins after showing me "Scotch & Soda". BTW I still have the original set that I bought in '70 from him. It is a '64 half dollar and '67 20 centavo coin. Duke Stern- Who I had the fortune to meet in Paul's Magic shop. Man, could he do some magic! (and Paul was no slouch either). Nick Trost- For his innovative packet tricks of the '60s & '70s that started my incessant hunger to learn card magic. Dai Vernon- Whose advise "Be natural" & "Use your head" has stayed with me since I can remember. Larry Jennings- Whose iconoclastic spirit is still with me. Alex Elmsley- Whose inventiveness and attention to detail has effected magic for many years past & years to come. Harry Lorayne- Whose style of writing is a joy to read and for his innovations over 4 decades. Ed Marlo- What else is there to say? John Bannon- Another who's writing style is second to none and magic to boot. Jimmy Molinari, Whit Hadyn, Hideo Kato, Jonathan Townsend, Vinny Marini, Glenn Bishop, Lee Darrow, Paul Chosse, and many other members of this forum who have helped me understand and appreciate the Art of Magic! Cheers!! :bikes: <<<KRaZy4kardz>>>

Bill Palmer, Bill Abbott, Daryl, Murray Hatfield, and my all-time favourite, Brent Smith.
For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who do not, none will suffice.
A magician is an actor playing the part of a magician. Don't run when no-one's chasing you. |

The illness is called hypersensitivity pneumonitis. I'll post some details of it in Polly wants a Cracker. I was pretty sick for most of a year, and had to get rid of the birds. About the same time, Joy and I moved out to the San Francisco area. (Joy is in her 20 season singing with San Francisco Opera.) I reworked the act without the birds and did it a few times, but never was that happy with it. Just recently did my first paid show in quite a few years. It was a close up show--sit down for 11 adults at an 80th birthday party. I have another one coming up in a couple of weeks. It's been quite a rush reworking the old stuff and learning some new. I've seen a number of familiar names as I've been lurking here. I'm looking forward to connecting with friends both old and new. Thanks for thinking of me, Glenn and Steve! Jeffrey Korst |
