Anyone know where I can get a good sound file of a space shuttle countdown? I'd like to mix it with my music I'm using. Thanks in advance.

Check the Apollo 13 CD. I believe you can find one there.

Just a word of caution, the audio from the Apollo 13 DVD is copywritten. You cannot use it without written permission from the studio.
However, if all you need is the countdown sequence, I would suggest visiting NASA's own website. Not only do they have a huge archive of audio and video from actual missions, it is all public domain (it's a government organization, thus the public domain). Their website is http://www.nasa.gov/ All the best! Scott |

I purchased a sound DVD called Dr Cheskys 5.1 Sound Circus and it has a Shuttle Countdown and launch sequence. Pretty impressive sound quality on the entire DVD. No video, it's just a sound DVD mixed in 5.1.
