Hi. I live in Rathdrum, Idaho. I was woundering how to find magicians in my area. There are no magic shops near here and I don't know were to get props and other tips from other than the internet.

PM Scott Guinn. I know he's from Idaho. He's a member of this Café. Maybe you could jam with him or ask him if he knows of any other magicians or magic shops in and around your place.

There is a club in Spokane. There are at least a few magicians in Couer D'Alene. Check the yellow pages from those cities.
While I do live in Idaho, I'm down south near Boise, 6 or 8 hours away from your area.

There's allegedly an IBM Ring in Spokane. I've emailed the listed contact but got no response.
There are a handful of us in the Moscow-Pullman area, and there's a magic club at WSU (unaffiliated with any of the big organizations). I'm the advisor for that club, and we've been trying to achieve a critical mass. (We currently have two students and two WSU staff members in the club.) Since you're in Rathdrum, you might try to locate Nick Norton -- the resident magician at Silverwood. Geoff

I know there's a club in Spokane. Ray Grismer goes to it sometimes, and I lectured there in '99 or so. I don't know the name of the club or whether it is affiliated with IBM, SAM or independent. I'd get a Spokane phone book and look under magicians and start calling until you get someone who knows the details.
