Does anyone still sell the 100% soft cotton rope that used to be available? The kind with the all cotton core, not synthetic. I need some in 3/8 and 1/2 inch sizes. Everything I find now has a nylon/synthtic core.

1/2 inch, or 3/8 inch cotton core rope is something I'de like to see too. How old are you? I'm 60 and I vaguely remember the 1/4 inch rope, but good luck hunting me amigo.

Abbott's Magic Company, Colon, MI sells it by 50' or spool.

I buy mine from Hocus Pocus whenever they have one of their 25% off sales.

I buy a 300 foot spool in yellow about every 3 months. They come in red, white, blue or yellow. At $33, it comes out to about 11 cents a foot. So I am spending about $132 a year for 1200 feet of a rope. Plus the yellow contrasts nicely against my bright jacket.

I use 8 feet of rope a show, and I do 200 shows a year, which amounts to 1,600 feet of rope for $48 a year, but it's just plain old ordinary white rope.
