I'm considering doing my first upside down Strait-jacket escape in many years. I used to put on several pair of socks, Duct tape my ankles and feet put on some combat boots and use good thick rope rapped several times around my ankles. It was a bad method! I'm going to look into granity/inversion boots, ice skates (bill shirk), and Fetters Suspension rigging. My weight is 300 pounds, I'd like to hear any thoughts or advice out there on ankle support. NO the rope will not be on fire!
