Here is the effect...

The magician lays a long chain onto the table, creating loops, as he does so.
The spectator is invited to place a finger into any loop.
When the magician pulls the chain, if the finger traps the chain, the spectator wins, if not he looses.
I understand there are numerous routines. Does anyone know where to find them? - Wulfie

For the price and the total package the DeSousa Chain Gang is hard to beat.

It gives some history, a nice two person game, and a number of good moves, a complete routine, and the as was mentioned, the chain. (A nice BIG chain)

I picked up a couple of smaller chains too, and often work right out of my hands with the smaller chains, with no throw on to the table at all. It can all happen in your hands, and it plays well when you dont have a big table top.

One of my chains is a very cheap but bright plated steel chain. And I keep it on the inside of my jacket cuff - all bunched up on a neo-magnet that is attached to the sleeve cuff. When I want to start, I show my hands empty and pull my sleeves back and steal the chain off the magnet. And the routine start out very magically!

where can you buy this?
DeSousa Chain Gang

Also is'nt this a bit like the rope effect in Karl Fulves rope book? Or is it different.
...think not that all wisdom is in your school. You may have studied other paths, but, it is important to remember that no matter who you are or where you come from, there is always more to learn.
