I finally got a link to the kozmoâ„¢ servante up on my website.
http://www.theambitiouscard.com/tables These have been selling thru word of mouth and mostly in the UK for some reason but there has been 2 major modifications you should know about. 1. kozmo requested that the frame be made of copper tubing. I took the idea and thought about it and have been able to re-design it so that it can still be completely taken apart. The idea for the copper tubing was brilliant and allows the 90 degree elbow connectors to keep it very rigid during perfomance. I've added removable pins at the corners so you can assemble/disassemble it at will. 2. the straps that fasten the servante to the stand (of your choice) are now fastened to the copper pipe and are completely adjustable to any stand. The design for this allows me to tweak the servante before shipping to fit any stand at all. The photos don't show all the latest improvements. More photos to come soon as one is being created for a Café member at this time.

Frank,
That is one sexy looking rig! You do good work brother! Best, Dan- "MT is one of the reasons we started this board! I’m so sick of posts being deleted without any reason given, and by unknown people at that." - Steve Brooks Sep 7, 2001 8:38pm ©1999-2014 Daniel Denney all rights reserved. |

I promise you this is a sexy rig....real world and it works great....ifrank and I designed the first one from some prototypes that I had been working on, the first 4 that I made were of fake leather....after I got it to where it would really work I send it to frank and he built our first...their were problems with the wooden dowel?..cant spell (street performer) I'm a street performer so while on the road in chicago I went to the hardware store and I bought some copper tubing, and it just looks great on the servant...told frank about it and he figured a way to have the tubing come apart so it can break down and fit into a suitcase for easy travel...this is a wonderful way to work . I think its better than the pouches for big loads if you build strong mis-direction into your routine.

I like what I see hear. Tell us with a surround show how does it work out? Sometimes I will have folk standing behind me quite close, your bag hangs at angle so can the big loads be seen sitting in the bag? All do you need your crowd in front of you at all times? (On the other hand they may just be looking at my bum) What do you think are the disadvantages of this to a pouch? Thanks Mario |

Lol, trade mark...yep that's me lol
um, surrounded really isn't an issue...thing is for me it seems obvious with pouches, doesn't it....i know they don't get it but for me, it seems obvious....i use it completly surrounded on a sidewalk, or circle show and I don't get causgth...it kills people because they cant see a thing....even the big loads are unvisable...the bag is pretty deep so they cant see it...amd also my hat is covering it so they don't see it, my hat is in the bag...this is how the routine is designed...its great cause you can LAP a coin using the servant...you can load a bill into a lemon in the servant with a good excuse to go down in there...its a different way....it works for me.... I load a cantelope form the servant... koz |

They do not take too long. Depending on what else is in the queue, obviously.
I would say the average is about 3 or 4 weeks. It was longer while I was trying to figure out the attachment mechanism. That took a while because I wanted something that would work for everyone and would not cause me to do something different for each servante. but with that figured out now, that part is a no-brainer. So, the average time could start dropping down to 2-3 weeks.

I only produde the big load form the servant, the rest come from my pockets.
I don't do cups on the streets, I wanted to do something a little different...so I'm a littelt all to produce a lot of stuff from the servant...gazzo is shorter so I think he could do this easily just like pouches... koz |

I'm having an extra one made that I'll be trying out myself.
I might have found the perfect stand to use with it as well.

Frank,
the idea of having a take apart copper frame is excellent - I've jsut spent last hour hacksawing my one off so I could collaspe bag! Wish you'd thought of that sooner!!! I've not manage to get mine to hang nicely on the table stand like in the pictures though due to it's weight - any tips Kozmo?? But I'm working on a new set of legs for my table. It's a great piece of workmanship. Kindest Regards DAK |

Dom, you use a tray stand and your servante is a bit larger than kozmos.
Kozmo uses a keyboard stand. Those are more stable and something to consider. I wish I'd thought of that sooner too. Lucky for you copper is pretty soft or you'd have been hacksawing for a lot longer. If you get replacement tubing, it should be exactly the length of the leather slots. The 90 degree elbows will make up the rest of the difference. If you can't find any of the re-usable clips let me know and I'll send you some. I need to get more anyway. I drilled small (probably about 1/8") holes into the elbows right down thru the tubing and out the other side. This is where the clips go. I don't think it's necessary to do both sides of the elbow. Just the side where the smaller tubing is. The long sides seem to stay together by themselves. Let me know if you have any questions.
