Hi everyone! Just wanted to take a quick minute and introduce myself. My name is T.W. and I live in the New York City suburbs. I work as a Massage Therapist, and am a current college student.
Magic has always been a life long passion of mine, but I really began studying and learning about five years ago. Sleight of hand has always been my main focus of study, though there definitely are gimmicks that I run across every now and then that peak my interest. Unfortunately, when that happens I almost always end up burning a bigger hole in my wallet than I'd like. Ahhh, the beauty of being in school still, huh? It'll be a pleasure to meet and chat with all of you soon! -T.W. |

Hi TW,
Thanks for your intro and welcome to the Café. It can be a pretty overwhelming place your first couple visits. So many post and where to start? I always suggest scrolling to view all the forums and perhaps picking a favorite topic or two and join in the conversations. Have fun! |

Welcome to the Café! About a martini? Oops! You are a student! Have a cappuccino instead. Paolo Venturini |

Welcome to the Café, TW! Fortunately, if we really put our mind to it, we can study and perform magic without spending too much money. Of course, it's so tempting to buy the next gimmick, the next DVD, etc., and that can be expensive.
