I'll announce it here... he, he!

This site is great, but I think we miss something... there are only a few ladies registered here, so I've registered on http://www.womeninmagic.com and I've made an invitation to them, to joying as here.

This is not only because I'm a man (I am!), but because I know personally many magician's ladies; they are really good, and could be a nice threat to as, review magic effects, questions and needs from a different view...

About that?

I have never met a good female magician.

I'm not trying to sound discriminative, I'm just saying.

Alex, how sad to live in such blind isolation. Trixie Bond, Jade, Dorothy Dietrich, Julie Eng, Diane Lane, Karen Beriss and Jennifer Alexander leap immediately into my mind. Each is a prominent and nationally or internationally known magical entertainer. Each has been featured in the various national magic magazines...including the covers. Each is a headliner in her own right.

And this merely scratches the surface of the gifted femme performers out there. Each one is a breath of fresh air in an art too long dominated by us fellas.

Alex, Alex Alex, them there's fightin' words young man. Keep looking, they're out there. Maybe they are just too busy working and haven't had the time to meet you. (Although I'm sure they would love to.) In fact, I don't think we've ever met. Have we?

The best magician at the Sam4 club in Philadelphia in my opinion is "magic by Helene". Helene uses her husband as her lovely assistant for stage illusions.

This is a magical feast for the female magical poon community.

In my country of England we have Sharon Lewis, Kerry Shorthand and Fay presto and her daughter laura london who are the leaders of the pack with sevarel chasing like rhinanon of magicbunny and kay dyson.

Not quite sure what that means.

I wonder if Alex is saying that he has never seen a woman magician. Or is he saying that he has seen women performers but didn't like their work. Or is he saying exactly what his post says that he has never "met" a good woman magician? In any event, of course there are good women magicians.

Rich - And we're supposed to wonder why the women might be more quiet on the Café?

Al & Chris:I guess you are not familiar with the old effect of hiding a wand up your sleeve and producing it from an invisible purse.I usually do it now with a long stem rose.Try it you may like it.Best.

Princess Tenko, Maritess Zurbani, Juliana Chang, Tina Lenert... And don't forget the magician's assistents, that usually do all the work, and the magi just move the hands...

Also my ex wife was really a good magician: she used to disappear my money fasten then I produce them, that's why I'm divorced now!

Capisci?

I wish I had, but I really have never personally MET any good women magicians. It's not a harsh opinion of anyone's work, I'm serious.

And It makes me sad Smile
