Hi guys!
Well I am going to buy an apollo close-up pad in next few days, I heard that it is one of the best and also it is not that expensive, because it somewhere around 30$. So.....to those who own it, is it really that good, did you have good experience with it? Also what close-up pads do you thing that are the best, for low price (not 100$ or higher) Help appreciated! |

As far as is know, I havn't personal expierence with apollo pads, the apollo pads are the best in that price category. that's what I heard from several sources and what I read about.
but the best are dean dills. Jah

Jah is correct. Dean's pads are simply the best. I own several, and would never use anything else. The Apollo pads are good, though. I own a couple of those as well, and I use them for sessions and practice.

Sometimes as a joke I'll use a carpet sample. Dean Dill's Production Pad is a great for coins, cards or what ever you use. It maybe a little over your price range but I think you'll get plenty of use out of it. Click on the link below and good luck! Will http://www.deandill.com/pads.html |

Eugene Burger uses a small carpet, more like a mini flying carpet then a carpet sample but...

I bought several close up pads from Hank Lee few years ago at his Conclave. They came in regular and large sizes and in different colors and the price as I recall was between $10 and $20. They've held up very well.
