I just recieved my eBay purchase! It's an old delicate book titles "The Parlor Book of Magic and Drawingroom Entertainments." It's a great book with some old effects and descriptions to such magic as: the Miser's Dream, Swallowing Needles and Thread, and Vanishing ring....appears tied around a canary's neck....the canary is produced from an egg! The book was published by Hurst & Co. out of NY in 1889.

The back of the book contains a couple pages of other books offered by the publisher. Such books as:
"The Art of Ventriloquism"
"Nepoleon's Draculum and Complete Book of Fate"
"Fortune-Teller and Dream Book"
..can be purchased for a mere 15 cents! (at that time)

It's in "okay" condition; however, it is another great addition to my collection!

Great Bryan! Sounds like a cool book. I just received my copy of Professor Hoffmann's "More Magic". There is something neat about an old book.
Happy Reading
