US Toy Magic in conjunction with the Philip Klein Foundation is proud to present the 2006 "Magicade".

MAGICADE was first founded in 1990 as a way to promote “Youth in Magic”. Created to encourage young adults to advance in the art of Magic, some of the past winners have followed in the footsteps of some of the greatest magicians of all time.

MAGICADE encourages young children from age 12 through age 17 to compete in a magic competition held in Kansas City. Magicade provides the professional theatrical setting, complete with stage lighting and theatrical staff to give youth a real magic performing experience in front of a live audience.

In order to encourage participation, the Philip Klein Foundation was established to provide awards to the top 3 performers. The first place winner is provided with a full scholarship to Tannen’s Summer Magic Camp in New York.

In the past, MAGICADE has produced some very talented young magicians and ultimately has been responsible for creating opportunities for young magicians to move on to professional venues. As an example, a past MAGICADE winner has worked for Jeff McBride.

We look forward to your participation in “MAGICADE” and hope that you will prepare well and present your very best material in this competition. Our wish to you is that this year’s “Magicade” will be fun and positive experience for each participant.

Those interested in participating should contact US TOY MAGIC SHOP for Rules and participant applications:
